  I left in

  Such a hurry.

  I'm moving

  To New York

  City.

  In a while.

   

  I've been a

  Little busy

  Moving in

  And finding

  A job.

   

  I'm sure you're

  Mad at me

  And mom and

  Dad are worried

  Sick.

   

  But I'm okay.

  Three months

  I've been on

  My own.

  I know the

  Letter are

  Still not as

  Frequent as

  Any of you

  Would like

  But I'm trying

  To adjust.

  It's different

  Living in

  A big city

  Compared

  To a small

  Town.

  I feel like

  I'm in a

  Sea of

  Fish.

  But it's

  A nice

  Change.

  No I haven't

  Made any friends

  Yet, but I

  Will.

  And yes Paul

  Did come

  Visit me.

  I told him

  The truth.

  He was not

  Pleased but

  He will come

  To understand

  In time.

  Of course

  I'll be safe

  How's life

  Out on the

  West coast

  Brother?

  Is it everything

  You hoped?

  Prefer the warm

  Weather to

  The cold weather.

  Maybe one day

  Head but

  You never know.

  Also you could

  Have forewarned

  Mom and dad

  Coming to visit.

  Surprise

  For me.

  They didn't

  Like the city

  Too much.

  But they didn't

  Act like it

  Was horrible.

  Since I moved

  Rolling eyes

  And scoffing.

  Yeah I easily

  Made friends

  High school

  But they were all

  Superficial and

  Shallow.

  None of them

  Would have

  Stuck by my

  Side if anything

  Bad happened.

  They were only

  Ever concerned

  About themselves.

  Brother dearest

  I've sort of

  Met someone.

  I don't know

  If we're friends

  Exactly.

  I met her

  Down at a

  Pier one night

  When I was

  Out exploring.

  It was last

  Week when I

  Found her

  Ready to jump.

  By then it

  Had begun

  Raining on us.

  She looked so

  Sad and

  Alone.

  Her name is

  Joy.

  And I think

  I kept her

  From committing

  Suicide.

  I hope I

  See her again.

  Here's to hoping I do.

  Long brown hair

  Green eyes.

  Today was a fun day.
